INFUSER reduces styrene emissions from wind turbine blade production
In recent years the styrene emissions from wind turbine blade producing factories have drawn significant negative attention. INFUSER completed in 2017 a 210,000 m3 installation at a leading wind turbine OEM factory in Europe. The installation has now been in operation for half a year with a continuous reduction of styrene emission well above 90%. This is accomplished while at the same time saving the client significant costs of replacing activated carbon filters. This installation will set the scene for further launches of CLIMATIC technology into the styrene and polymer industries, says Kenneth F. Kolvits, GM of CLIMATIC.
