THE CITY OF COPENHAGEN (KØBENHAVNS KOMMUNE ERHVERVSPRIS) NOMINATES INFUSER FOR THE COPENHAGEN BUSINESS AWARD `16
INFUSER with a nomination for a business award (Københavns Kommune erhvervspris)
The City of Copenhagen (Københavns Kommune) announced the establishment of the Copenhagen Business Award (Københavns Erhvervspris) back in March 2016. The award pays tribute to businesses based in the Copenhagen Municipality which contribute most to the growth, environment development, social responsibility and innovation in the Danish capital.
INFUSER WINS THE COPENHAGEN BUSINESS AWARD 2016
“We want sustainable growth in Copenhagen. This is why our partners should meet strict social responsibility requirements and pay the due respect to the environmental and climate. Fortunately, there a number of companies that stand with reediness to help fulfill the sustainable vision we have for the municipality. I am delighted that now (with the award) we could formally show our appreciation to these companies” says Morten Kabell, Mayor for Technology and Environment.*
There are three nomination categories: Environmental and Social Responsibility, Attractive City and Innovation.
INFUSER is nominated in the innovation category – “The company has managed to turn primary research into jobs and tax revenues in Copenhagen, which proves that basic research might well be transformed into successful business. The estimated turnover for 2016 is 50 million Danish Kroner. The total revenue for 2014-2015 was 15 million Danish Kroner.
This year the company will open INFUSER CleanLab, air laboratory, (NB. INFUSER opened the laboratory in the end of February 2016), in the campus of the University of Copenhagen, which will be one of the most advanced research and development air laboratories in the world
Professor Matthew S. Johnson, co-founder and inventor, received the innovation award of the University of Copenhagen in 2014”
The award ceremony will take place in the “Festsalen” at the Copenhagen townhouse on the 13th of June 2016 between 8:30 and 12:00.
