“At Infuser I have been given a chance to turn my passion and all the knowledge in the field of atmospheric sciences into products that help better the world”
I am a scientist with more than 10 years of academic research experience and 7 years of industry research and management experience in the fields of air pollution chemistry and atmospheric science.
Growing up with the images of nuclear ice winters, the ozone hole and regular dumping of radioactive materials in the sea I was always concerned about the state of the environments and the health of the globe. As a child there was frustratingly little you could do to affect change, but when it came time to choose a career path it was clear to me that environmental chemistry was the right direction. I quickly fell in love with aerosol science which holds the keys to answer some of the biggest unknown questions in atmospheric science and public health. The World Health Organization pinpoints air pollution and specifically aerosol particles as one of the biggest problems in public health, both in terms of number of attributable deaths and in terms of number of sick days.
At Infuser I have been given a chance to turn my passion and all the knowledge in the field of atmospheric sciences into products that help better the world. Being the head of the scientific developments, I turn experiments and empirical data into products and solutions, while I get to set the agenda and direction for the products we develop. Working with a team of extremely skilled colleagues we take creative ideas and turn them into patents and products that can e.g. reduce pollution, increase quality of life, or increase productivity of the workplace. This finally gives me the unique chance I was looking for as a child; to affect the change for a better world, one air purification system at a time.
